What this work involves
Collision damage on a classic vehicle is not the same problem as collision damage on a late model production car. There is no parts catalogue that solves every issue, panels are often no longer manufactured, and the finish on the car may be a custom mix or decades old original paint.
Repairs are planned around what already exists on the vehicle. Where a panel can be repaired and saved, repairing it is usually the better outcome than replacing it. Where a panel is beyond practical repair, we look at correct replacement sheet metal, good used panels or fabricated sections.
Existing restoration work matters. Trim, badges, moulding, stripes, body lines, gaps and previous paint work all get attention during planning so the repaired area sits correctly against the rest of the car rather than standing out as a repair.

- 02Repair planWe decide what can be repaired, what should be replaced and what needs to be fabricated, then discuss it with you before work starts.
- 03Structure and panelsMetal work, panel repair or replacement, alignment and gap correction on the affected areas.
- 04RefinishingPreparation and refinishing of the repaired area, with attention to how the new work meets the existing finish.
- 05Final finishingColour sanding and polishing where appropriate, then reassembly of trim and removed components.
